岐阜県瑞穂市の代々続く旧家より、掛け軸、骨董品、屏風、茶道具、家具、贈答品などをトラックに積みきれないほど、大量の品物を買取させて頂きました。
最も高額買取だった品物は、山崎弁栄の掛け軸の仏画（楊柳観音図）でした。
山崎弁栄上人は、明治時代後期から大正時代に活躍した浄土宗の僧侶ですが、岐阜本誓寺などに度々、巡錫されたり、岐阜県揖斐郡大野町に一か月もの間、住生論註の講義をしたりと、岐阜とは縁があり、山崎弁栄上人の仏画や書などの掛け軸などをご所有されている岐阜県の方から時折、買取のご相談を頂きます。
なお、今回、出張買取でご訪問したのは、代々続く古い旧家で元々は、古い土蔵もあったそうですが、土蔵は昔に壊され、屏風や骨董品などは、家屋の２階に運ばれてありました。
トラックいっぱいに積載される荷物の画像は、2回目のご訪問時でしたが、1回目の査定時にトラックが必要なことは明白でしたが、トラックにぎりぎり積載できる大量の骨董品、屏風、茶道具、飾り棚などの買取となりました。こういった大量の骨董品などの買取にも小川処堂はご対応いたします。

We have purchased a large quantity of items from a longstanding ancestral home in Mizuho City, Gifu Prefecture. These items include hanging scrolls, antiques, folding screens, tea utensils, furniture, and gift items, to the extent that they couldn’t all fit into a truck. The most valuable item among them was a hanging scroll of a Buddhist painting (Willow-viewing Kannon) by Bennei Yamazaki. Bennei Yamazaki was a priest of the Jodo sect who was active from the late Meiji era to the Taisho era. He frequently visited temples such as Gifu Honshoji and gave lectures on the commentary of “Jussho Ron” for a month in Ohno-cho, Ibigo-gun, Gifu Prefecture. There is a connection between Gifu and Bennei Yamazaki, so occasionally people in Gifu Prefecture who own hanging scrolls of Bennei Yamazaki’s Buddhist paintings or calligraphy consult with us.
During this visit for on-site purchasing, we went to an old ancestral home that has been passed down through generations. It was originally equipped with old storehouses, but they were demolished long ago, and items such as folding screens and antiques were stored on the second floor of the house. The images in the truck, filled with loaded items, were from our second visit. It was evident during the first assessment that a truck would be needed, and thus we proceeded with the purchasing of a large quantity of antiques, folding screens, tea utensils, and display shelves that could just barely fit into the truck.
